Parent Information - Elementary Students

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Students and staff are ready to begin getting settled into our school routine and feeling good about the structure the days bring. It is important to start the year with consistency. Here is some information to help enable students to have a smooth transition into the school year.
Parents and caregivers of elementary students should use the circle drive near the tennis courts to drop off & pick up students. Community members are also reminded that it is not a parking area - it is for pick ups/drop off only. Students should not be dropped off in the back of the building. That area is dedicated to elementary bus drop off only.
I would also like to remind parents that as part of our school safety procedures, if students need to be walked into the building by a parent, they should be dropped off in the office and a staff member will walk them to their class. As they become more comfortable, students can also walk themselves. Likewise, if elementary students are being picked up after school, please make sure your child has a note so the teacher is aware and parents/guardians should wait outside the double doors at the athletic entrance to pick up the student. A staff member is there to ensure students are released to the appropriate people.
We take school safety very seriously and we appreciate your willingness & cooperation in this matter.
